Remembering What We Were Never Meant to Forget

Colonization is more than the theft of land. It’s the theft of memory, rhythm, and relationship with the body. Module 8 uncovers how global systems of domination have severed us from Indigenous knowledge, pathologized emotional expression, and erased neurodivergent ways of sensing and being.

We’ll center Black and Indigenous neurodivergent experiences, exploring the overlapping impacts of masking, code-switching, and cultural erasure under colonial rule. Through this lens, we’ll begin to see how reconnecting to our embodied knowing can be an act of both personal and collective liberation.

Sabia Wade brings a powerful perspective on somatic liberation, community healing, and the role of the body as a site of resistance and wisdom.

To reclaim ourselves, we must also reclaim the stories, rhythms, and truths that colonization tried to take.

In Module 8, we begin the work of remembering — not as nostalgia, but as a radical act of returning to what has always been ours.

Neurodivergent Rising: Reclaiming the Truth of Difference

Neurodivergent Rising is a 9-week, live-taught learning journey that goes far beyond checklists, stereotypes, and clinical labels. Through a trauma-informed, multidisciplinary lens, we’ll explore the lived realities of neurodivergence and the cultural, historical, and systemic forces that shape how it’s understood.

Alongside a community of peers and powerful guest voices, you’ll uncover the wisdom of your own body, question the systems that demand you perform or conform, and reclaim difference as a source of intelligence and strength.

This course is for neurodivergent people, caregivers, and practitioners who want to deepen understanding, expand compassion, and imagine new possibilities for living, relating, and thriving.

Each module combines live teaching, guest sessions, guided practices, and reflection tools to help you integrate the learning into daily life — so you leave not just informed, but transformed.

With warmth, honesty, and a grounded approach, Neurodivergent Rising invites you to step into a truer way of being — not as someone broken or in need of fixing, but as a whole person rising into your own truth.
