Meet your guide
Kristina Kyser, PhD
I created Neurodivergent Rising after spending decades searching for answers in my own life, and as a psychotherapist serving people who had been taught to see themselves as the problem.
My own late discovery of autism and ADHD transformed not only how I understood myself, but how I understood trauma, mental health, and the systems that shape our lives.
Today, my work brings together lived neurodivergent experience, neuroscience, trauma-informed practice, systems thinking, contemplative traditions, and over a decade of clinical experience.
This isn’t simply a course. It’s an invitation to stop asking, “What’s wrong with me?” and begin asking a more liberating question: What if nothing was ever wrong with you?

Love from our students
This course has been a mirror for me to see myself more clearly. The class is potent, subtle, nuanced and revealing. I love the combination of science, lived experience, and spirituality…the intermix is rich, revealing and satisfying. The class has a freeing effect however you define yourself,
Jen M, usa
This course is revelatory. Scientifically informed and profoundly anti-empire and anti-racist. The spiritual component to this course speaks to my soul. I am more than the shame that was stamped into me.
Fede N, Iran
This program is so profound to me. It holds this rare balance of solid science, lived experience, and real upliftment. It’s helping me so much to reframe my neurodivergence as something social, relational, meaningful. Understanding the operating forces brought a huge shift for me — it helped me understand myself with more clarity, and a lot more kindness.
