Your Body Was Never the Problem

For so many neurodivergent people, the body has been treated as unreliable, something to manage, control, or “fix.” Module 5 turns that belief on its head, reframing our nervous systems as finely tuned instruments that carry deep intelligence.

We’ll explore emerging science on sensory processing, bottom-up perception, and the metabolic cost of navigating a world built for different bodies. At the same time, we’ll examine how the clinical gaze often misreads or pathologizes these traits, ignoring their wisdom.

Dr. Diana Kopua (pending confirmation) offers insight from Indigenous health leadership and critical psychiatry, bridging modern science with a holistic, trauma-informed understanding of the body.

This isn’t about forcing your body to adapt to the world — it’s about recognizing that your body has always known what it needs.

In Module 5, we reclaim the body not as a site of dysfunction, but as a wise companion on the journey of living fully and authentically.

Neurodivergent Rising: Reclaiming the Truth of Difference

Neurodivergent Rising is a 9-week, live-taught learning journey that goes far beyond checklists, stereotypes, and clinical labels. Through a trauma-informed, multidisciplinary lens, we’ll explore the lived realities of neurodivergence and the cultural, historical, and systemic forces that shape how it’s understood.

Alongside a community of peers and powerful guest voices, you’ll uncover the wisdom of your own body, question the systems that demand you perform or conform, and reclaim difference as a source of intelligence and strength.

This course is for neurodivergent people, caregivers, and practitioners who want to deepen understanding, expand compassion, and imagine new possibilities for living, relating, and thriving.

Each module combines live teaching, guest sessions, guided practices, and reflection tools to help you integrate the learning into daily life — so you leave not just informed, but transformed.

With warmth, honesty, and a grounded approach, Neurodivergent Rising invites you to step into a truer way of being — not as someone broken or in need of fixing, but as a whole person rising into your own truth.
